"I am really, really impressed with [Western Michigan
]," said Williams, who measured 6-3 and 267 pounds on his visit this weekend. "I was able to visit some different college games this year and the atmosphere beat them all. Campuses like Kentucky
, Bowling Green

Williams has the Broncos as his clear leader at the moment but he has one other school he has to visit before his decision will be made.
"I am going to visit Ball State
this weekend and after that I will make my decision before Christmas," he said. "Ball State said they would not have a scholarship for me next weekend but they would in January so I'm not really sure what they have in mind so I guess I'll see this weekend."
As for Western Michigan, Williams came away with a very positive feeling while around current players and coaches.
"I get the feeling just talking to coaches and players that Western Michigan is a big family atmosphere," he said. "They are just laid back, nice guys and I really got a good feeling being around them."
Williams is a full qualifier (1100 SAT, 24 ACT) that is being recruited by Brian Rock. Williams was hosted on his visit by Dominic Moran
Williams, whose team finished with an 8-4 mark this season and a trip to the sectional finals, knows that regardless of what happens next weekend at Ball State he will have one solid school to rely on.
"Western is definitely my leader right now," he added.
Matt Williams is a senior offensive line prospect from Fishers, Indiana and he just returned home from his official visit to Western Michigan University. Williams is being recruited to play center for the Broncos and he came away very impressed with the visit.
