| Belmonte started against Eastern Michigan in 2004 and play in 50 plays against Toledo.
In 2003 he started in two games. He was in on 91 plays, making 10 tackles against UConn. Against Marshall he recorded 7 tackles, 6 tackles at Northern Illinois and he returned 4 kickoffs for 54 yards giving him an average of 13.5 yards a return.
In high school he received two varsity letters and earned All-Dupage Valley Conference Honorable Mention his senior year.
