| Biography: |
| A 5th year senior from Batavia, Illinois. Chris was one of the defensive leaders in 2001. He recorded 56 tackles, 9 for a loss of 45 yards including 5 sacks for 41 yards, and 1 recovered fumble. In 2000, Chris was named All-MAC Second Team, shared the lead in pass break ups, was second in sacks, fourth in tackles for loss, and started the last 6 games of the season. He helped the Broncos in recording three shutouts; the first time that has happened since 1971. Chris earned his first varsity letter in 1999 while providing a physical presence on special teams. At Batavia High School, Chris was named All-State Class 6A special mention in 1997. He was a unanimous all-conference selection in 1996 and 1997. He set the school-season record for tackles for loss, twice, while playing defensive tackle and fullback. |
